Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Human Factors Training

CRM

Crew Resource Management (CRM) training focuses on human-machine interaction and the human factors that cause us to make mistakes. Historically 75-80% of all aviation accidents involve an aspect of human error.

CRM training is intended to raise awareness of those human traits that can cause us to make errors. Simply recognizing these traits will make a safer working environment, increase situational. Developed originally by the airline industry and adopted by the military, CRM has drastically reduced the accident rate in all areas of aviation.

CRM is just as applicable in single pilot operations, known as Single-pilot Resource Management (SRM). Our training also incorporates SRM skills, applying the same core principles of CRM to the individual pilot.

Our Core CRM Training covers key CRM concepts, including Human Error and the Error Chain, Situational Awareness, Decision Making and Risk Management.
